PETRIFIED WOOD PLATTER

Large, rectangular 42 x 31cm platter made from two highly reactive glasses. The base blue contains copper, and the top glass has reactive elements of selenium and others. Upon firing, two quiet pieces of glass violently react together to create a vibrant wave of reds and browns reminiscent of petrified wood. Cheese knives will be fine on this piece.
